If a child is to keep alive his inborn sense of wonder, he needs the companionship of at least one adult who can share it, rediscovering with him the joy, excitement and mystery of the world we live in.

Updates due

We know that updates are due but we have been so busy here, it's not even funny. We don't even have time to attend our own BBQs.

Currently we are very busy entertaining taha the tiger from the south. together, we found important marriage contracts, ins apps and other imp paperwork that had been put away somewhere safe. now there is no place to walk in the study. so next is my own room. the living room has been put off limits because some guests are expected.

well, we have to go now so that people can get their evening tea. there are some wonderful school stories to tell and you shall hear them when we have time to tell. otherwise, we will remain busy experiencing them.

dear people,

our house is swamped by viruses. we need to get healthy again. monkey's first ever spring break was spent im high fevers, when we were meant to go on a long long road trip. isn't that just sad?

m is asleep. the southern tiger is visiting. i am supposed to go for a meeting but don't really feel like it. still have to cook but no feel.
i think i have contracted chai's illness.

m loves her principal and vice versa. i have been told by her teacher that m runs to the principal for hugs and then sits in her lap, which the p never does for other students.

m painted her first islamic master piece - the tree of the forbidden fruit which Adam ate. she made red apples.

All grown up!

My little baby is mashallah growing up really fast. I have been staying with her the entire day in preschool, so that she could adjust to being there and not be scared that mommy wasn't with her. Today she told me that I could go home. And when I went to pick her up, I was told she was giving hugs to the principal.
